Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is a holisitic medicine system which dates back 2500 years and since that time has continued to evolve both in China and in recent decades in the West as well.

The theory of Chinese Medicine believes that a healthy organism is in harmony between the two opposing forces Yin and Yang. If one of these two forces falls out of sync, dysharmony results which in turn can over time lead to all kinds of problems and ultimately disease.

Yin and Yang are interdependant and mutually create «Qi», a lifeforce which is the basis of all life. This qi flows in the meridians on the surface of the body and is therapeutically accessed and used through over 360 acupuncture points.
